You are what you eat!

We are ready for those recipes!  In the meantime, we'll rustle up some good ones for you <3

Let's start with some very basic ideas before we get too cray cray.  As always, if you have a fairly decent eye and are willing to share your recipe, send it in.  As there are currently none here, we won't be picky!

Mix it into an already existing substance such as...

Hummus, cottage cheese, cream cheese, soup, salad dressing or make salad dressing by adding a bit of oil and vinegar, mac and cheese, ice cream (serious panda), pesto, pasta sauce, guacamole, salsa, fruit salad, other hot sauce, soup, enter your idea here (and then submit with a photo!).

Use as a marinade

Take whatever it is you would like marinated, put it in a ziploc bag, add a healthy dose of hot sauce, CAREFULLY displace/squeeze out as much air from the bag as possible without getting hot sauce everywhere and place in refrigerator for around 12 hours or the night before you plan on cooking whatever you placed in the bag.  Keep in mind that marinating will infuse the hot sauce flavor throughout the vegetable/meat/whatever of your choice.  This is not to be confused with...

Basting

This can be done in a variety of ways and all of them depend on what you are cooking and how you are cooking it.  Basting on a grill will be different than basting something in a pan.  With the grill you must continue to add new, we'll call it baste materials as you will pour/dump/squirt/dollop onto the grilled item of your choice and invariably some if not most will end up on the coals.  If you are using a pan, you can continually scoop up the juices/sauces with a turkey baster/spoon/something and pour on top.  Basting is done to provide moisture for the item being cooked and/or to make a nice "crust" on the top of what's for dinner.
